SUPPORT ANIMALS & CHILDREN IN PASAY

What we do

We are a small volunteer-run organization striving to a lead a community in Pasay city, the Philippines, towards better animal welfare. We lead by example – providing toys, treats, nutritious food, walks, playtime and love to animals in the community – and also provide resources that are out of reach of the impoverished community – such as sturdy dog houses for chained dogs, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services. We are also the community’s only access to basic veterinary care, such as parasite control, treatment of wounds and illnesses, flea and tick prevention, and medication for skin conditions like sarcoptic mange and fungal infections.

We also operate a weekly kids’ program in Sarhento Mariano Cemetery. The children in this area live in severe poverty and many do not attend school. Many families are food poor – eating food from the trash, locally known as “pagpag” just to survive – and there is no running water, electricity, or proper sanitation in the cemetery. The mission of the kids’ program is to provide the children in this area with a positive space where they can learn, be happy and confident, and just be kids.

We depend on the support of people like you to make our work possible. As our organization is run entirely by volunteers, 100% of the funds we receive go directly to where they’re needed most: providing essential services to animals and children in need.

If you love kids or animals and have at least one free Saturday a month, please consider joining our team as a volunteer! Our animal volunteer work operates in two shifts – 6am to 10am, and 10am to 2pm every Saturday. Our kids’ program volunteers are needed from 9:30 to 2pm. E-mail us at PasayPups@gmail.com if you want to get involved.

We're dedicated to making a difference in the lives of dogs & cats (& people!) in an impoverished area of Manila.
